I'd just like to thank everyone here for their help both with the questions I asked, and some that I got answers to that I never asked. The Mandrake Linux distro I've been waiting for (snail mail) arrived today, and instead of partitioning my Windows (which froze up again while I was looking at the installation instructions), I'm doing away with it totally.

So...if all goes well, I'll be back in a few minutes, otherwise...I might be a while! Thanks for being your awesome selves.
