Dun'kalis 09-02-2002, 01:54 PM Umm...Mozilla is better? newbi 09-02-2002, 02:08 PM Thats great can you give any resons as to why? Or is it just opinion? bwkaz 09-02-2002, 02:23 PM It's like using one distro over another. Or another editor. Or another development environment. Or another office suite. etc., etc., ad nauseum. It's just preference, mostly. The Whizzard 09-02-2002, 02:28 PM Originally posted by newbi Thats great can you give any resons as to why? Or is it just opinion? The codebase in Mozilla is more mature than Konqurerer. FYI, Mozilla is based on Netscape, which is one of the original web browsers. Konquerer has only been in development for the past few years. newbi 09-02-2002, 02:37 PM The codebase in Mozilla is more mature than Konqurerer. Mozilla has this new tabbed windows, which i like a lot. t keeps the desktop nice and neat.:D nouse66 09-03-2002, 05:27 AM i wouldnt recommend konquerer because for me it just doesn't work all the time. theres some pages (like my own) where the html/js just isnt displayed correctly or at all. it doesnt even display my counter correctly! on the other hand... mozilla works great and has all the cool features like tabs and pop-up blocking. aaron MMA 09-03-2002, 05:51 AM But another point i would like to make is that Mozilla takes couple seconds to start up and uses a lot more resources then Konqueror. Thats why sometimes i prefer to use konqueror. afterthefall 09-04-2002, 01:33 AM Sheesh...doesn't anyone use Opera or Skipstone? :p :D Brian Gaccm 09-04-2002, 01:41 AM for me, mozilla feels more rough. Like if i type in a url into a new tab, then it doesn't center on the page, so i have to click on the page to be able to scroll down using the arrow keys. However, i'm typing this on mozilla, so it isn't all bad. Whenever i'm in KDE though, i use konq. justlinux.com
