Slackware Mouse and another ?

I just installed SlackWare8 this weekend and I am having troubles getting X to start. I have a Microsoft Intellimouse explorer and it won't seem to rrecognize it. In the config file I am using the imps2 protocol. Any Ideas on what I have done wrong?

Also is there anyway to make my prompt look like :)?

Option "Protocol" "IMPS/2"

should be correct.

You might also want to add this line under that:

Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"

That will make the wheel scroll.
