1) Intel Xeon pros:
Would these be a good choice for a workstation? I know there hella expensive....
2) Supermico motherboards.
Any comments on em? A good choice or would Asus be a better choice. I dont want to go with MSI because my brother had one and it exploded, of course not everyone is happy with one product...
3) Happy Hacker keyboards.
I want a small *** keyboard and this is the only I could find. Anyone have one and are you happy with it?
why is the normail one $130+ and the "lite" one only $50?
they appear to have the same features.....

Intel Xeon would perform fine in a workstation however some may consider it overkill. They are expensive though. Personally I would stick with a P4 or Athlon XP cpu. For the price of a Xeon perjaps you could afford to go multi cpu with P4's or Athlon MP's
Not familiar with Supermicro mobo's. I have an Intel, Asus and MSI. All are good boards. The MSI is in my linux machine and has been running about two years now with no problems.
Not familar with those keyboards.

I agree with m-sambo as far as the processor. Go with Athlon XP or P4, XEON just isn't worth the price for a workstation.
Supermicro boards are ok. Never read anything bad about them, but they aren't really considered one of the best board manufacturers either. Unless you're an overclocker though, they should serve well.
Happy hacker keyboards are awesome. I don't remember the difference between the standard and the lite, but either way, $50 is still too much to ask for a keyboard if you ask me, when I can go to any store and get one for $15. Obviously I've never bought a happy hackers. Want one though. Used one. They're nice. When they lower the price, I'll get one.

I have one and it works fine with *nix. Best supported with US keymap, which obviously isn't going to be a problem for you. I think the more expensive one can work with sun hardware aswell. I just have the lite(black) version but I love it:

I also have the light edition of the black HH keyboard. It works fine in Linux when you map it as a US standard keyboard. You can get _any_ keyboard to work in Linux if you do a little work remapping it.
I can't offer any help with the other questions though, apart from "don't buy an abit KG7 mobo" because they tend to beep at you when you boot and require a reset if you have a GeForce and Athlon XP.
