sounblaster live driver doesn't work hlp

I've got an soundblaster live 5.1, on an amd 1500+/ chaintech motherboard, i downloaded the driver but is tells me that it can't find the kernel version, iv got redhat 7.2 installed but it just doesn't,work i got no sound!
Can any one help me get it compiled???

You should already have the emu10k1 module for the SB Live.

Ensure you have PnP OS disabled in the bios.

Check to see if emu10k1 is loaded using

lsmod

and if not, try loading

modprobe emu10k1
