I have a problem. I just created a new kernel (2.4.19) using the 19 steps to a new kernel NHF. There's a problem tho, when I boot up and try to start X i get an error about no usable screens. It says that there are screens but none have a usable configuratio (or something like that). When I try to boot into my old kernel the new hardware thing comes up for my Video Card but fails to configure it. This only happens in the old kernel, the new one initializes without problems. Also, this never happened before on the old kernel and suddenly it stopped working. Im running on Red Hat 7.3 on a Dell Inspiron 8100 laptop.
