This isn't really a Linux question but it does have to do with networking so I hope its ok here.
Can anyone help me to find a good log viewer for monitoring my network. I'm looking for one preferably under windows but Linux will work too.

*umm*
You say "monitoring" your network. This covers rather a lot of ground .. IBM has tivoli netview which is an enterprise level network monitoring tool that can manage your network of 100,000's of devices down to controlling the devices and costs $$$$$$$$. Then .. there's IPtraf which will monitor packet volumes on a single system which is free. What do you want to monitor?

I'm jjust running a small 5 pc network in my apartment. 3 xp machines, a win2k, and a RH7.3. All I want is a simple networking monitor that records the incoming and outgoing traffic. My father has one that I like but I'm not sure where to find anyother copy of it. It says it's called log viewer, but I can't find it anywhere. If anyone knows where I can find it or soemthing, I would appreciate their help.
