CMonster 01-20-2001, 10:44 AM If you just installed the rpm you probably still have to install Star Office - you can use your package manager to locate where it put everything. ------------------ CMonster says, "You can't choose the right OS if you don't have a choice." theclave 01-20-2001, 10:48 AM Package manager? Yeah, I know, I'm being really dense. posterboy 01-20-2001, 05:28 PM Installed as root, you likely have a new dir in /root named Office51, or similar, and in there, a dir named bin. In bin, find and run ./soffice. Obviously, this is too much trbl, so do things to your X desktop, or at least, make symlinks in appropriate places. If you did the network install, each user must install "pieces" of it in their ~. HTH, Ray ------------------ ray@raymondjones.net HTTP://www.raymondjones.net justlinux.com
