Usually, I use XFS for my desktop's file systems. Is there any way to read, and even write, XFS from Windows? What about ext2/3? I've heard a few things (very little though) about being able to read ext2/3 file system from Windows. Anyone know anything about this?

A google search (http://www.google.com/linux?hl=en&lr=&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=reading+linux+partition+from+windows) yields thusly:

Gotta bookmark that Google site as it seems to come in quite handy sometimes. :D
As for XFS->Windows connectivity, I think you can accomplish that by using Samba.
