i have bought a new laptop, and i wanted to install Linux Mandrake 7.1 , but my Video Card Is not Listed, i tried to select some video cards randomly so it might work, but it didn't...
I have the Drivers for my Video Card on a CD, that came with the Laptop, is there a way i can configure my Video Card And continue the setup?

just use xserver-svga
it's sort of like the universal xserver

Linux, the only one with the Penguin.

try going to:
www.cs.utexas.edu/users/kharker/linux-laptop/ (http://www.cs.utexas.edu/users/kharker/linux-laptop/)

also, make sure you have framebuffer built in to yer kernel (do you see a penguin when your dmesg is scrolling by at startup?)
