Local network/internet

[Netty]

Hi guys well here is my problem i have 2 nics eth0 and eth1 now i am trying to get on the internet with eth0 but after playing around a bit and rebooting i only get eth1 up with my local network ip, so i need to get eth0 up and used for the internet, now i installed roaring penguin, pppoe well now after a reboot i dont even have the modules loaded, problem 1 and when i do have them loaded if i try to use eth1 for the net i get an error msg saying Couldnt attach tty to ppp unit 0:incalid argument..
so i havent a clue what i dont got installed or need, someboyd was saying dhcp well its adsl so its roaring penguin, So i typed in ifconfig eth0 and i get it up and in lsmod i get ppp_synctty Unused

ppp_generic usedby ppp_synctty ppp_async
slhc
so am i missing something, i know to init the eth0 i can put it in a script at start up that i can fend later if you can help me and understand my blathering please email me or leave me a post or pm Im so lost Thanx to anyboyd who reply's
