Or don't buy them at all. I think you can purchase individual mp3s, like from places like mp3.com, etc. ~ Siskie Lacan 08-23-2001, 04:17 PM LOL are you in bad mood ? :D Malakin 08-23-2001, 04:32 PM www.limewire.com (http://www.limewire.com) This is a gnutella client but maybe you'll like it more then the other one/s you've tried. I've found it to be better then anything else out there. That's what I use and it's pretty easy (very napster-like, go figure). I don't have the url though. dvdnut 08-24-2001, 08:28 AM ive also seen something called bearshare hanging about too duno if there is a linux client for it tho Icculus 08-24-2001, 12:20 PM anyone know how to make audio galaxy work in linux ? in windows this is my fav cause itll find ANYTHING , thought its a lil slower cperry42975 08-24-2001, 12:45 PM Originally posted by Siskmarek: <STRONG>Buy the CDs. Better search, just 1 and you are a HIPPOKRIT. You may find that most of the users here - and most of the serious Linux users - stronlgy oppose piracy in any form. Piracy, what is piracy, that could be interpreted many ways and is subject to the opinions of many. So somebody start a thread in rant "Who doesnt have 1 single MP3 on their System that they didnt pay for" Ive seen the screen shots of alot of people posting here and the 1 thing similar about them all was xmms running with a list of their MP3s streaming below. So in closing I will say if youve done it once, just once for that 1 little file you wanted, you are as guilty as all the rest. ansivirus 08-24-2001, 01:15 PM Icculus- I use Audiogalaxy in linux.. What is the problem you are having? -ansiVirus bdg1983 08-24-2001, 03:49 PM hypocrite... tis the correct spelling. BearShare and NapShare are very much alike. :) chimera 08-25-2001, 12:28 AM I gotta go with Audio Galaxy. They've been having lots of problems lately, but I've always been able to find more there than anywhere else. You may wait for a while to get a file, but as long as nothing weird happens, you will get the it. Plus, no transfer errors! The last time I used Napster, I tried to get 23 songs. 19 of them errored out, 2 of them had very poor sound, and one was mislabeled. AG at it's worst isn't that bad, just slow and sometimes your queue dissapears so save the page once in a while just in case. justlinux.com
