i have a shell account and i was telnetting around the net but some websites doesnt accept telnet access. how can i get into a site that doesnt accept telnet access

You're mixing up your terms. Websites run over HTTP, telnet uses an entirely different protocol (of course, you can manually speak HTTP with a web server using a telnet app, but that's not the point). What are you trying to do -- surf websites or login to a shell account?
