Web serving + FTP

Hi everyone

1)How do I setup my RHL 7.3 to be a web and FTP server?

With WinXP Pro, it's just a matter of installing IIS 5.1

This is a workstation class installation. I read that a server class installation will DESTROY every
partition on every disk on every channel!

Can I just rpm -ivh some_web_server_name.rpm?

2) I'd also like to have a ColdFusion web application server on this system.

Trying to learn some basic stuff here :)

Also, are there any GNU apps for this purpose?

Just download the packages for proftpd: http://www.proftpd.org and apache httpd from http://www.apache.org

Well, after some light reading, there's also Apache versions for windows. May well be better than IIS 5.1 :p
