Installing a Terminal with a CGA Card & Monitor

Hi,

Iam interested in using my old 386 machine, 4mb ram 130 mb hdd, 32-bit I/o card & i have got an old cga card & montior tell me which smallest distribution to use & connect with network card of 3com 3c509 or etc to connect to my other machine running red hat linux 7.2

Can u tell me whether the cga will runt text only ( i know 16 colors display can't show more)

any pointers for this,

If memory serves me, CGA is 4 colour. You must have an EGA card.
