I hope that title made sense but here's what I want to do.

Save an .swf file to disk (shockwave flash). Click on it and have konqueror pop up and run it with the netscape plugin.

This sounds simple but I can't seem to get it to work. I'm using Mandrake 8 with kde 2.2

When I go to file associations in konqueror I type swf into the find filename pattern box, and under embedding make everything that runs swf use the netscape plugin viewer. Now if I go to a site like macromedia.com everything works fine, I only have problems opening an swf file, but not when it's embedded in the html of a web page. When I do try opening a file directly I get an error that says "Unable to load Netscape plugin for file whatever.swf"

Edit: rewrote some of this, I got a little further.
