I've been all over usenet looking into this and have found many ppl with the "followed the readme but "ksamba" does not exist or can't be found error" but no answers. Does the installer work? If so what else can’t be done other than what the readme says?
The readme follows:
To install ksamba do this:

1.) untar package (you have done this, if you can read this file) :-)
2.) cd ksamba-0.3.3
3.) ./configure
4.) make
5.) make install
6.) ksamba (to start ksamba) <-Not an excutable it’s a directory created by the installer so it don’t work to launch the program.

Is there a directory that it likes to be installed from or will any “/ksamba-0.3.3” do?
Is it hiding out on my drive somewhere? (I did a file search for ks*.*,kas*.*, etc and found nothing)
I'm stuck.

Could the executable be named something different?

whereis ksamba
or
updatedb then locate ksamba

Any executables in the ksamba directory?

I've tried it, couldn't get it working either. Now I use LinNeighborhood, it works wonderfully.
