I just wanted to say that anyone who is following the tutorial should note that: If you bought a cheap mobo of some sort (I have a QDI), You will experience random lockups until you disable AGP 2x. This solved all of my problems now that I have disabled this. Does anyone have this working with 2x or 4x AGP (I have a prophet II 64mb)?

I would also just like to add... LINUX rules.. wow.. I never actually played Quake 3 in it before (I am a server admin, never really fooled around with X until now).. wow... it runs excellent.. I think I will not go back to windows.. this is just crazy cool..

I have 2x running on a Ali Aladdin V chipset and a Rage Fury. It runs fine, but then again it is all Open source. That and fuzzy graphics quality are why I would never buy an Nvidia card.

With luck, NVIDIA will have the AGP stuff fixed up for the next release. Until then, I have to disable it as well on my toy box. (Irongate chipset.)
