HOw are rankings determined, how does one become grasshopper, HAL, or Black Belt? Just Curious?

Don't worry too much about the rankings. I have over 600 posts and I'm still very much a newbie. There are many, many, many people on this board that are still junior grasshoppers and they know way more than me.

I would suggest that all new to this board read the FAQ's as they will answer your question and more. Also the NHF's.
