1: How do I stopp the system from auto opening a browser window with the CD contents every time I insert a CD?
2: I've installed a file browser called GFB, it looks great and is real fast. But I can't right click on files or press the options button, when I do, nothing happens.
I'm using Red Hat 7.3 and KDE

I've tried that, but under "peripherals" in the control center, all I find is: Digital camera, keyboard, and mouse.
I can find a "CD properties" menu if I look under programs - settings - peripherals - CD properties. I've tried turning everything off in that menu, but nothing happens, the CD's autoopen even after reboot

I have the options for
Audio CD's - Play on Insert
Data CD's - Open on Insert, Execute autorun.sh, Ask before execute
Mixed Mode CD's - Treat like Audio CD, Treat like Data CD, Ask, Ignore.
Have you looked around the other sections of the KDE Control Center?
The settings are most likely stored in one of the rc files in the users home directory ~/.kde#/share/config or the main KDE directory /opt/kde#/share/config or whevever your main KDE directory is.

I guess it's just a matter of looking around your menus or your distros configuration utilities.
