I got somewhat annoyed with xmms today, and went looking for a new mp3 player. Lo and behold, I stumbled across mpg123 and the gqmpeg frontend to it. Wow. Its certainly not quite as pretty as xmms, but it certainly loads and runs a lot faster.
So I ask...is anyone using any other media players (audio or video) that they're just super proud of? I'm currently browsing for a better mpg player. aKtion!, kaboodle, and noatun are starting to bother me as well... *grin*
Any suggestions?
