HOW, oh how do I get Galeon to support Flash media? Some ppl sya it does, some say it doesn't. I downloaded the flash_linux.tar.gz file, but where do I put the uncompressed files? This all started out so innocently...I just wanted to watch a short cartoon, and I end up spending 90 minutes now trying to get one of my browsers to play Flash media.....Help!

galeon does suport flash. Although i'm not sure how it ended up working in my galeon when i only installed flash to my mozilla.
That should be a clue.
Galeon uses the mozillla engine so as a tip look in:
/usr/local/mozilla
or type:
locate mozilla
or
whereis mozilla
where ever mozilla is you will find a plugins directory place the flash files there then restart galeon. like wise java and plugger and other plugins can be added there to enable features on galeon. all of these seem to be working on my machine without directlly messing with galeon so I'malmost sure that mozilla is the key to fixing your issue.
