Please help Cheers TooEZ KumaSan 12-07-2000, 10:01 PM Try LinuxISO.org (http://www.linuxiso.org). they have all the ISO's you can handle. ------------------ jaa, mata-ne... TooEZ 12-07-2000, 11:02 PM I had tried them first, they only have Intel debian-2.2 r0-1.iso, and I can't find it at the debian site. ColdPack 12-08-2000, 10:55 AM Yes, it has been released but the iso has not (yet)... check at http://www.debian.org or http://www.debianplanet.org for updates... Again, you can apt-get upgrade to it or wait a day or so for the iso images to be completed. http://www.infocom.cqu.edu.au/Units/aut98/85321/Old_Stuff/1997_Website/Study_Material/Resource_Materials/Linux_Logos/linux-ms-anim2.gif [This message has been edited by ColdPack (edited 08 December 2000).] MikeV 12-08-2000, 11:13 AM If you happen to have the bandwidth to download the iso, just do an ftp install instead. -M ------------------ Windows 98 has detected your mouse has moved. Please reboot for the changes to take effect. TooEZ 12-08-2000, 06:13 PM I cant apt-get because i'm not running debian yet (still using redhat 6.2) but would like to switch to more stable linux dist (please no flames!!!)... Yes, I have the bandwidth at work but I want to install debian at home... Thanks anyways.. But really, play with redhat a few days longer if you need to... the iso will be realeased very soon. Right now, it's available only as it is (not iso yet). ------------------ "What do people mean when they say the computer went down on them?" ---Marilyn Pittman TooEZ 12-08-2000, 09:13 PM Originally posted by ColdPack: If you're desperate to have it, then just get the 2.2r0 release, then apt-get upgrade to 2.2r2. I was hoping to have the iso for the weekend to install it and have a play with it, but as it is now Saturday lunchtime now, it will more than likely have to wait until next weekend (we have a good games night happening tonight)...
