I found the programming environments and toos in my Mandrake 8.2 distro and figured I should try out C and Python.....can anyone suggest any sites or books that are good for someone who's never programmed b4? Thankee fer the help!

http://www.python.org has beginner tutorials. I suggest starting out with that.
