SANDISK Problem

I have a digital camera that uses san disk and I use the pcmcia adapter to (used to) transfer files back to my m$ machine, but now that I'm on linux (RH73), I'm having little difficulty in accessing my pcmcia disk... do I have to create a mount or anything? I tried to use the KDE3 Konquer, but didn't know how to browse, let alone trying all kinds of CL that I'm trying to familiarize myself. Need your help... TIA

Thanks for the great website! I'm going to have to try to do this at home and see how it goes from there. I have to admit, running linux is a big learning curve for me, but appreciate everyone's help!
