Linux Virtual Machine in Win2k

Hi,

I have win2k on my computer and I have installed vmware. I have configured a virtual machine and inside the folder of the machine I installed linux mandrake 8.

I did that just by pressing the 'power on' button I inserted the cd for linux and I went through the installation procedure.

The installation finished but now when I press the power on button,m to run linux, the loading procedure freezes just when lilo runs.

Can you please tell me if I am doding something wrong?

Where did you tell lilo to install?

In VMware, you install the bootloader to the mbr of which is actually within the guest os.
