apt-get install apsfilter.
But can't get apsfilter to run.
Can't get printer to work.

i don't know about debian but try running "printtool" cee if it works

Debian also has printtool in Woody. The only distro that doesn't is Slackware.

Have you tried to set it as a generic text-only printer? Some printers (like the HP DeskJet 720) will not work with Linux. You may have to put a line in your .profile (or whatever your startup script is called) that defines the PRINTER environment variable:
PRINTER=HPDeskJet
export PRINTER

apsfilter on mine is in
/usr/share/apsfilter/bin/apsfilter
That is not on a PATH, you have to execute it from that .../bin directory. ??
In any case what is the error message?
