The later versions of WinZip seem to be able to handle tar and tar.gz files...

A few weeks ago someone at work asked me for a tar for windows. I searched the web with google ("tar for windows") and finally found it. If you can't find it, mail me and I will send it to you on monday.

Yes, the newest version of WinZip (www.winzip.com) can handle tar ang gz files. However, it can only read them, not create them I believe.
