Hi, I just ordered Mandrake 7.2 (haven't got it yet). Well the problem is I found out before I ordered it that it won't work on USB ports (my mouse, keyboard, everything is on USB). I would just upgrade the kernel ,but like I said everything is on USB. Any ideas??

To late to order Mandrake 8 instead? I've heard it's quite good at detecting and using usb devices.
If you stay with 7.2 and have problems with usb, then I guess a kernel upgrade is in your future. Not at all a bad thing to learn how to do though.

Wouldn't it be kinda hard to upgrade it if your mouse and your keyboard dont work?

There is usualy a setting in the bios to enable USB Keyboards and Mice without actuly installing the support for them in the operating system you are using. Look around in there for a setting such as USB keyboard or USB mouse and make sure it is set to enabled.
However, it might not be in your BIOS...the only way to find out is to look for yourself.
