why do they call it freebsd, if you can't get it free?

maybe i'm blind dumb and stupid, well it's probly i'm just ignorant, but i can't seem to find any ftp site that has a single folder saying "download this, and you'll have everything you need to install bsd."
nope i can't even find a so called "bin" folder where the floppy's are supposedly hidden. . .or am i just stupid, any one want to help?

I would imagine you just need to find the iso for FreeBSD, download, burn the CD from the iso and then install from there.

Where to get the FreeBSD iso image, sorry I have no idea. Got mine from Comdex (13 Linux CD's for $30.00).
