www.lokigames.com (http://www.lokigames.com) has a good selection of 3d games for linux, some you have buy, others like Quake III and UT, you can play with the windows CD, with the binaires

I would like to add that Loki is also very active and responsive in the gaming community. I subscribe to the "utservers" listserver and Daniel Vogel (loki programmer)is always helping out there and is very open to suggestions.
Loki rocks!

For Q3, make a directory /usr/local/games/quake3/baseq3 and copy/link the pak0.pk3 file to /usr/local/games/quake3/baseq3/pak0.pk3 . Then just get the 1.17 point release for linux from www.fileplanet.com (http://www.fileplanet.com) and install it.
Of course, all of this assumes that you have 3d working already.

UT is easy to install. Get the update from lokigames.com (http://www.lokigames.com/products/ut/updates.php3) , mount your UT cdrom then run the update
