When I try to use one of the 3D screen savers in Slackware I get the following error

Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
pulsar: display ":0.0" does not support the GLX extension.
Then something about abnormal program termination.

I have installed the glide libraries for my card and should have GL support, I think. I use the Voodoo Banshee card and am using Slackware 8.0 with no upgrades.

Added Load "glx" to /etc/X11/XF86Config modules section ?

I appreciate your response and appologize for not responding quicker. I uncommented the load "GLX" line in the XF86Config file and it works.
