A quick question, What does it mean when the mouse curser just takes off for no reason does this meen ive been hacked and if so could you direct me to a noob program to stop whatever or whoever. Please I feel so violated.

When does this occur? If it's as soon as you start using X then you probably don't have your mouse configured correctly. Edit your /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file and change the mouse protocol to IMPS/2 (i think that's it). If it occurs while you're using the computer then you need to look at the output of running 'ps aux' and see if VNC is running, or some user you don't know about doing something. I doubt you've been hacked, especially if you're on a dialup connection.

Ok i added the IM to the PS/2 protocol the muse works a little better but it still moves every now and then i dont think as much though.
I didnt see VNC but the strange thing is the start of the command line didnt look normal it looked like this
[john@user-2inis51 john]$ isnt it normally like john localhost or something?
