Im trying to install Redhat 7.3 on my thinkpad 1200. My comp has what i believe is an unbootable cd drive, no internal floppy, and an external zip. I can't create the boot disk using the zip. I was wondering if I could use an external floppy. If anyone has booted using an external floppy on a laptop lemme know, cuz I'd hate to buy it and it not work. Also if anyone knows an alternate method of installation for someone in my situation, please tell me. I'm cant even gt past this early step of installing it. Also, FYI, I'm using Windows ME right now and I'm trying to dual boot with Redhat. Thanks in advance.
