Where can I find and download a version of Linux that will work on my Mac Powerbook G4. Can anyone help with installation.

Thanks nsf pwhitdog 08-03-2002, 10:37 PM I haven't done it due to the fact that I don't have any macs, but try these sites: www.powerbooklinux.com for basic stuff www.linuxiso.org and download either yellow dog linux, mandrake-ppc, or debain-ppc. I have heard the best about the yellow dog distro, but on the o'reilly site there was a story about a guy with his ibook and debain. let me know how it goes, I always wanted a mac myself :( Paul WarMachine 08-04-2002, 02:02 AM I know gentoo runs on the PPC, click the sig to read up on it, as I have no idea what I'm doing on a MAC, so I can't describe anything to you justlinux.com
