Installing RedHat from source

I want to install RedHat 6.2 from the source disk and recompile it as Ix686 vice Ix386 as I do it. Is this possible? Thanks...

Most likely it is but it would require a lot of work and time to do it,why not go and build LFS system ( www.linuxfromscratch.org (http://www.linuxfromscratch.org) )it's even more fun http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/biggrin.gif.
