i have a guest account on my computer and i let my friend have access to me through rlogin. he wasn't destructive or anything, but iwas wondering how i would disconnect him if he were to start being malicious. also, are there any monitors that let me know when someone has connected to me and lets me monitor their activity...?

I'm sure a log entry is made when they connect.. Also, check out ttysnoop for monitoring.. I never messed around with it, but I remember it being there..

As for removing him -- just use the kill command..

BTW, if he's connecting remotely I advise using ssh..
