Hello,
I've installed and configured a dual boot linux/windows 2000 system. I have two hard drives, hde and hdf and have windows residing on hde and linux on hdf. I'm using the GRUB loader since it was the default option in the redhat 7.3 instalation process. Unfortunately there are two side effects.
1) Windows takes a lot longer to boot than it used to. (minor annoyance)
2) Microsoft internet explorer, which used to work fine before installing linux, now freezes when I enter a url address to go to. What's puzzling is that I can reach the web pages in my favourites folder and I can follow links just fine.
As far as I know the only effect linux could have had on windows was in the master boot record (because the rest of liux was installed on a seperate hard drive). Anyway, can someone help me with this?
