Ok, I'm a linux newbie and have been reading on the internet like mad including this forum. I tried a search, but really didn't turn much up.
Here is the situation...
I have an 8MB Ram 200Mhz machine running Debian (potato). I'm trying to get a program called Touch Express to run in it (powerbasic) using dosemu. I got it installed and configured. I even got share.exe to run and got the program to start, but I'm having troubles with two major things right now.
1)I need a 10x23 font. Can I just rip the font off a windows machine and how would I "install" it?
2) The program uses mouse clicks. I'm not sure how much you experience in DOS there is, but when you open a command window in win2k there is an option for the command window called quickedit mode. Basically, you can see the mouse cursor and highlight things, but you can't click a "button." It's quickedit mode in windows, and it's acting like that mode in dosemu. Is there a toggle for it somewhere I'm not seeing (checked through dosemu.conf and saw nothing)? Is it for another reason?
Thanks guys, I really appreciate it. I'll try to do whatever you guys think, but I'm really a newbie at linux. I'm starting to understand the filesystem a bit more since I've been working in dosemu so much.
