Hi,
I'm trying to install Mandrake 7.2 on my Dell Inspiron 8000 and I'm running into a brick wall here. No matter what installation I use, right after I select the installation class (and no matter which class I choose) the machine hangs with a message saying "Configuring PCMCIA cards...". Not even ctrl-alt-del will reboot the machine.
Now, I don't really care if I get the PCMCIA cards working in my linux install so if there's a way to tell Mandrake to just ignore them then I'd be happy. Any other solution, of course, is much appreciated too.
Thanks,
Berj
