ok i have a new computer with nothing on it but dos no windoze now since i'm a newbie i wanted to start with a simple linux program and i think that turbo linux is the best 4 me now. heres the question can i load linux on the computer just using DOS or do i have to have windoze on the computer? and can you point me in the direction of a DOS teacher so i can learn a few cmds strings. thank you very much

No, you dont need windows. Linux is a OS. If you need help, in the upper left of the screen there is a button that says NHF. IT will help you..
Try http://www.linuxnewbie.org/nhf/intel/commands/index.html
That will help you with basic commands.
