I'm having problems installing mandrake linux. The process runs ok until i have to choose the monitro / graphics card. I tried first on an old PC, and it just kept turning the screen blank - even when following the suggestion for selecting an unlisted card if you are having no luck.
Then tried on the actual PC i want to run Linux on. Again the installation went tickety boo, until i reached the monitor selection. This time, no matter what i selected, wethere the actual monito or suggested one, the computer goes to a black screen, displays the following message
/tmp/ppa.o:init_module:No such device
and locks up. Whats going on?!!!
