I installed RH 6.1 last night, Its workin ok except I cant get the res to 1024x640!!
Reason being beacuse I have no idea what the specs on my monitor are, cant find em on the web either!!! 800x600 SUCKS MAN, anyone know anything i can do?

Try 1024x768 instead. That is a standard monitor resolution.

Doesn't redhat have Xconfigurator ?
I think that has a list of monitors to choose for X and it provides the correct frequencies for your monitor.

Redhat does have Xconfigurator, and it works quite well.. If your monitor isn't listed, do a custom, and the only answer you might have probs with is the h-sync, ..on both my laptop and my sony, i chose 50-90 and it worked fine, yeah and you should know your video mb. then you can pick what res you want..
