Please post the contents of:
/etc/cron.d/exim
I deleted this file by mistake and I don't really feel like reinstalling exim.
I don't know if this matters, but I picked options "3" when I was installing. I don't remember what it was called, but I use fetchmail to retrieve from a pop3 server. Thanks in advance for the help :-P

dpkg-reconfigure exim

didn't work....
I did eximconfig as well and that didn't re-create the file.
short of reinstalling, it won't recreate the file....and i don't want to do that.
Someone PLEASE help me out and copy and paste the contents of that file (/etc/crond.d/exim)

Incidentally, apt makes reinstalling easy - "apt-get install --reinstall exim"

heh...yeah, I agree
name doesn't suit my distro of choice very well.
I made it up a LONG time ago though. Very childish, but I stick with it anyway :p
