Ok, got an issue which I thought I could track down and hope its just me being completly idiotic.
Installed a new debian box (running stable) and its on a 208.x.x.x address and my machine, running Debian unstable on 192.x.x.x cannot reach it. I can ping it, I just can't telnet/ftp to it, and visaversa. I looked in network settings/hosts.allow/deny and after blowing the machine as wide open as I know how it still won't let me connect.
I've got UltraE450/3500 and those can connect to the stable box because they are also 208'd, but they cannot touch my unstable box.
So the issue is the same, just not sure what the solution is.
If you've got a possible solution, I'm all ears..
Regards,
