Sneakernet Linux download?

Hello,

At home, I have a slow Internet connection (24 Kbps). However, I have, access to machines with Zip drives running Windows 95 (but no CD burners). How could I download a distribution other than a "mini-distro" ? I don't have any kind of CD burner.

If you home machine has a zip dirve, look at Slakware. They have a version called ZipSlack that will install from a Zip drive. Then you can just download additional packages as you need them. I basically did the same thing, although i didn't use ZipSlack, just a real minimal install of theirs to get up and running.

What disk sets did you get? I'd want Slackware-current since I already have 7.1.
Also, I have a USB Zip drive at home, so I don't think I could use Zipslack.
