Hi,

I've not installed Redhat 7.3 yet. But I read that linuxconf is not
there already. My question is what is the package that
substitutes linuxconf? And what security problems does linuxconf
have?

Thanks.

Webmin?

Anything on Redhat's site as to what replaces Linuxconf?

I've read here that you can install the Linuxconf from Redhat 7.2.

Yup, RH completely removed Linuxconf from their disks...you should be able to use an RPM from 7.2

No idea what security problems it would have, couldn't be anymore then Webmin has...

Something pops out in my mind suddenly.
Suppose I want to restrict the length of a password, in the
older distributions, there is linuxconf to help me. Now, with a
newer distribution like RedHat 7.3, how do I set such a rule?
I don't know how to do this by hand.

Thanks
