Okay can anyone help me here? I'm trying to install Mandrake Linux 8.2 as a dual boot system on a Iwill KK266-R motherboard. I have two Raids configured. Windows XP on first Raid Stripe w/2 40GB 60GXP drives.

I'm wanting to install Mandrake on second stripe w/2 15GB 75GXP drives.

Here's what happens during install:

When asked if I have a SCSI interface? Yes, choice ataraid driver.

Says "Found ATA Raid Interface" =Good.

Time to build system partitions, I get this error:

"I can't read your partion table, it's too corrupt for me:( I can try to go on blanking bad partitions (ALL DATA will be lost). The other solution is to disallow DrakX to modify the partion table (the error is ask_before_blanking: extended partition: bad magic number.)

The it says, "Do you agree to lose all the partitions?

If I click Yes I get:

An error occured:
ask_before_blanking:extended partition: bad_magic_number

If I click No I get:

An error occured:
ask_before_blanking:unknown partition table.

Does anyone know a fix for this or a way to achieve the setup I'm after. If I have to I can install Mandrake on a regular IDE (non Raid), but I've tried this but still run into the same problem if I arleady have Windows XP set up on one Raid Stripe. Any help or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. I'm really eager to start using Linux but I want it to be an optimal system with Windows XP as still an option. Thank you in advance.
