very complex duel/triple boot problem

I have just installed RH7.3 and wish to get it duel booting with my already duel booting windows ME and XP using the standard windows OS choice menu

however for some reason i never get the option to boot into linux - ie LILO never appears, and the only way i can get into linux is by using the boot disc i created during install. can anybody help??

i have linux installed on hda3 (ext2 - 2.5gb)
hda2 is swap (swap - 263mb)
hda1 is windows ME (fat32 - whatever is left out of 30gb)
hdb is windows XP (fat32 - 80gb)

about a year ago i had an identical confiuguration working fine with LILO, exept it was RH5.2
