I've got Linux Mandrake 8 on my second IDE hard disk.
I've got Windows on C: of course.
I've got a bootmanager - how to get rid of/de install this bootmanager?

And how to wipe the lixux partitions of my HD if I should want to?
(F-disk from Win 98 seems not to be able to find it)
Gratefull for any help

If the bootmanager is lilo or grub installed to the master boot record, you can boot into windows, go to a dos prompt and type "fdisk /mbr" The bootloader will be gone then.

If you are using somthing like BootMagic, just unintall it in the windows control pannel.

Hi,
I had the same problem in RedHat 7.2 and Lilo took over my MBR..I wanted to use BootMagic..I posed the problem in another forum and it worked like a charm..
Good Luck,
